I am very surprised there aren't more comments to this thoughtful post. I, for one, definitely believe in #4. It didn't occur to me how very deeply important this is until maybe 8 or 9 years ago, and I started just making less and less time for people who weren't making me feel really and truly good whether when speaking on the phone or out having a meal or catching a movie. I've always been fine spending time alone but when I stopped saying yes to every friend who had some free time just because they asked, that's when I had the nerve to get particular about who's allowed into my space and why I wanted them there. I found that some just didn't fit anymore into the woman I've grown to be. And that's alright. What matters now is that the people I do spend time with are just right. Not much time for the negative Nellies.

And watching the clock (although I'm posting this after 1 a.m. because I'm a natural night owl) is another winner for me. It annoyed me recently when I'd said I didn't have time for something. Sure, time is limited, but when I accounted for what I spent my time doing, I absolutely found time to fit in some morning fitness, a facial, journaling. Those are just some of the small things, but it's worth investigating our time usage regularly, maybe even once a month to weigh what we're doing with what we want to do and then shift where we must.

How can I possibly not have time for a luxurious bubble bath if I find myself in front of my computer while Late Night with Jay Leno is on in the background? Couldn't I take a Late Night with Jay Leno bubble bath instead? Just a thought!

Art classes are so much fun! I don't think we created one in my classes in high school lol

I had such a great time creating my vision board and I really love the way it turned out. I'm glad it has inspired an idea for you! :)
